    Description

Winchester M1894 SRC Cal. 38-55 #647769 Mfg. 1913. Gun has seen considerable honest wear and use. Metal overall generally smooth and dark. Some areas on the receiver with unidentified striations, obviously incurred during the period of use. There is a small die stamped marking on the left side of the receiver, possibly a brand. Screw missing from front band. Original carbine sight as well as correct tang sight. Mechanically fine, excellent bore, markings show some wear but very good. Wood also shows honest wear and use, now with an old coat of varnish and overall very good, just one small sliver on the right side at the receiver. Original carbine butt plate. An interesting '94 SRC with lots of character.
