    Very Fine Sharps New Model 1863 .52 Caliber Breech Loading Infantry Rifle, #C, 37752 All metal generally smooth and untouched, 30" barrel retains areas of original blue mixing with dark patina. Lock, hammer and priming assembly bright / gray. Bands with a moderate amount of case colors. Excellent bore, mechanically perfect, complete and original in every respect. Wood excellent with no inspectors' marks save for a single letter stamped at the butt plate tang, just some minor dents scratches. Really an exceptional Civil War Sharps rifle.
