    U.S. Model 1861 .58 Caliber Percussion Rifle Musket, Trenton 1864 All metal generally clean with bright / gray finish, just some light scattered brown patina. All markings are crisp including 1863 breechdate along with barrel proofs. "N.J." surcharge on the breech, blued rear sight. Mechanically perfect with excellent bore. Wood lightly cleaned, just showing signs of very minor use. The oval cartouche lightly stamped in the wood opposite the lock. Complete with original ramrod. Accompanying the gun is a model 1855 angular bayonet with a dark patina and scattered pitting, housed in its original leather scabbard which shows minor crazing, brass tip dented.
