    Starr Breechloading Cartridge Saddle-Ring Carbine. Serial no. 30951, .52 rimfire caliber, 21-inch barrel with standard sights. Case-hardened frame and hammer. Lever activated dropblock action. Extractor. Saddle ring. Walnut stock and fore-end. Crescent butt. Approximately 5,000 of this model were manufactured. Starr went out of business in 1867.

    Condition: Good. Retaining approximately 40-50% rebrowned finish mixed with patina. Light patches of frosting and pitting present. Wood with light wear and blemishes. Fore-end chipped on left side near frame. Action good.
