    Description

    Society of the Cincinnati and Trenton Princeton 1774 Medals. High quality double sided gilt silver and enamel Order of the Society of Cincinnati medal with spiral ring attachment, badge measures 1 3/16" X 2", excellent condition but for minor enamel damage on the green leaves at the ring, 20" blue and white silk neck ribbon in excellent condition. Trenton and Princeton medal is bronze with gold and enamel rosettes, measures 1 3/8", suspended by gold ring engraved with number 257. On a 38" yellow silk ribbon in excellent condition. The medals have a family attribution to John Beale Bordley (1727-1804) prominent Maryland planter and judge.
