Scarce Honest 1st Model Winchester M1873 Rifle, #7106. 24" round barrel, caliber .44-40, hand engraved serial number, checkered oval thumbrest, manufactured/ shipped 1875 and accompanied by a factory letter. All metal generally smooth and gray with traces of blue, just a few minor patches of salt and peppering, minor. Mechanically perfect, good markings, excellent bore. Complete and original in every respect including the rare four piece cleaning rod in the butt aperture. Oil finished stock excellent, again just showing some normal use with a few scattered dents. A very nice, totally honest, very early 1873 rifle.
