    Revolutionary War Recruit Bounty Receipt. One page, 7.25" x 4", Boston, May 11, 1782. Bounty receipt reads as follows: "Mustered and received of Capt. David Pierce, Chairman of Class No 5 for the Town of Gloucester, a certain Scammon Chadburn, a Recruit, inlisted [sic] for the Term of three years." Signed "Ezra Badlam, Muster-Master." Lightly toned, mounted to a larger board.
