    Revolutionary War Pass to Secure Medical Supplies. One page, 8" x 6.75, "Bethlehem, 29th April 1778." Unusual document issued to John Reed, requesting any aid or assistance as may be given him by military personnel during his journey to Boston to secure much needed medical supplies for colonial soldiers. Signed by Thomas Bond as Adjutant Director General. Dr. Bond founded the Pennsylvania Hospital in Philadelphia in 1751. Lightly toned.
