    Relics: Four Relics Related to American Historical Sites, from the Collection of J. S. Reigart, including: wooden disc, approximately 1.25" in diameter, in a sealed jar with a news clipping about Christ Church at Williamsburg, Virginia; a naturalistically carved wooden acorn in a sealed glass jar with the a partially printed "Collection of John S. Reigart" card inscribed, "Acorn made of a piece of the Charter Oak of Hartford"; five acorns in a sealed bottle with a label that reads, "Natural Acorns from off the Charter Oak, the Old Tree fell ¼ before 1 O'clock, Aug 21, 1856"; a turned wood box, 1.5" x 2" in diameter, in which is a carved piece of wood in the shape of a book, 1.25" x 1", with a tooled leather label reading, "Charter Oak Hartford", the tree was supposedly the hiding place for the Royal Carter for the Colony of Connecticut.
