    French Model 1763 Charleville Musket. 44 3/4" round smoothbore barrel, mostly bright with areas of dark staining and pitting at the breech. Gun has been reconverted to flint configuration. Lock engraved "Charleville" bright with small areas of dark staining, hammer shows light surface rust, mechanically perfect. Balance of iron fittings smooth and gray. Stock is smooth with a few minor dents a small 3/4" crack at the lock front and a repaired break above the lock from the tang forward. Complete with original ramrod. A nice example of this desirable Revolutionary War era musket. From the Michael Yeck Collection.
