Description

18th Century Wig as Worn by Many Military Officers During the American Revolution. Fabricated entirely of human hair. The inside has a gauze like skull cap which is rather heavily reinforced with 1/2" wide silk bands winch are stitched across the crown and interwoven at five different spots along the sides, front and back. Everything is of course entirely hand stitched. Tied in a bow at the back with a 1 1/4" wide black silk ribbon. Excellent sound condition overall. The hair around the front and sides displays a strong curl, while the hair in the back is straight and is tied in a pony tail with the black silk ribbon. Rarely seen on today's market and a superb addition to an 18th century/Revolutionary War military display.

The pre and post sales experience was wonderful and flawless. Heritage has the best in-house operation I have ever seen and their people are not only professional but fun to work with, especially Steve C.

As for Heritage's online system… Yes the interface is more complex than what we are used to with SAN but what is behind that interface is amazing for sellers and buyers alike. It is real time and for a real serious auction buyer there is nothing better in the auction industry, bar none.
