Published in London on November 10, 1778 by John Morros, drawn by Corbutt. According to Russell in "English Mezzotint Portraits and Their States", this is the first state. Some restoration to paper loss along the right margin. A bright and compelling portrait. We are selling a matching piece for Howe's brother, William, in this sale.
