    Description

Rare Early Pittsburgh Glass Pharmacy Jar C. 1860. 13" high with maximum 28 1/2" circumference. Heavy, pontiled, 7" diameter base with 3 1/2" stem. Inside of bowl and base of stem clouded and will need to be properly cleaned, else in perfect condition with not the tiniest chip. The incredible fragility of these pieces alone dictates that there are few surviving specimens, with this being an exceptional example, and a wonderful adjunct to a Civil War medical display.
