    US Model 1812 Starr Cavalry Saber 34 1/4" flat clipped point curved blade mostly smooth and dark with areas of light pitting and no chips. Deep crisp markings "P / HHP / N.Starr". Hilt with deep dark patina mostly smooth with medium pitting on the pommel. The wood grip with a filled crack devoid of leather. Scabbard very good with a few shallow dents and some patches of light pitting but generally smooth and gray. Complete with original throat and rings. Nice representative example of regulation War of 1812 enlisted cavalry saber.
