    US Model 1795 Springfield .69 Caliber Conversion Musket. 44 1/2" round gray barrel exhibiting salt and peppering with heavy pitting at the breech, deep clear proofs. There is an old iron plug in the barrel directly above the drum conversion. Lock with clear "US" over Eagle and "1808" stamps, functioning action, pitting around the nipple. Remainder of fittings gray with salt and peppering, swivels missing, butt tang dated "1808". Stock with old undisturbed finish has sharp edges minor dents and a small 1/2" crack forward the lock. Complete with original ramrod. From the Michael Yeck Collection.
