    Description

    U.S. Model 1795 Harpers Ferry Flintlock Musket Dated 1812 Barrel dark with pitting in the breech area ,exhibits a cut dovetail for rear sight and heavy dents. Remainder of the metal also dark with areas of pitting and surface roughness. Markings, with lock bearing eagle / US, and Harpers Ferry 1812 at tail, integral forged iron pan. The gun remains in its original flintlock configuration and is overall untouched. Wood exhibits a few long tight cracks, one emanating from the front of the trigger guard and one from the lock. Wood also shows scattered dents and initials carved on the cheek. Complete with original ramrod.
