    Description

    Model 1861 Civil War Cartridge Box Cartridge box is in excellent condition showing light crazing with soft pliable leather. Maker marked on inner flap, has both tins, full unbroken pull tab and strong buckles. Cover is complete with brass oval US plate. Cross strap has heavy crazing but no weak spots, circular brass eagle plate with patina that matches the US plate. Set appears to be untouched since the Civil War.
