Description

Very Rare Post Trader Pay Table with Three "Good-For" Paper Tokens, ca. 1870s. Soldiers received credit from the post trader and company commander. Also there is a document to pay the trader from the soldiers pay. These good-fors 25 cent, 50 cent & 5 cent are all imprinted with G. H. Andrews name over the printing, they all read "good for in goods Post Trader, 18th Infantry". The 18th U. S. Infantry fought Chief Red Cloud & the Sioux Indians in the Dakota's. This is probably a proof sample given to the post commander. Good-Fors measure approximately 2.50" x 1.50", document 8.25" x 5.25".

Condition:
Good-very good, discoloration of document good-for's are rich in color, and glued to document.
