Description

U.S. Army Entrenching Tool, Circa 1880. 8" trowel blade with grooved-handle marked US", complete with the brown leather scabbard which is also marked "US". Scabbard with brass throat and mounting ring. Only modest scabbard wear to the blade, with some scuffing and spotting to the leather scabbard, otherwise a nice example in very good condition.

From the estate of Houston collector Brent Burg.
