Description

Richards Mason Conversion of Colt M1860 Army Revolver Cal. 44 Colt #7112. Barrel now 5" with rudimentary front sight. All numbers match except the trigger guard which is # 2843, the wedge is un-numbered. Gun retains 30% of what appears to be an original nickel finish. Metal generally smooth with just a few small scattered patches of light pitting. Excellent markings including frame patent dates, crisp tight action, very good bore. Grips excellent just showing smooth even wear. Early Colt conversion that clearly saw a lot of "action."
