    Remington U.S. Navy Model 1867 Rolling Block Carbine Serial # 1161. 23 1/4" .50 caliber barrel, anchor stamp behind rear sight, breech to the band plum color turning brown from the band to the front sight, scattered small nicks and scratches, bore dark. Frame and action mostly smooth with mottled finish and small areas of light surface rust, strong action. Frame with anchor and inspector stamps. Wood showing a number of small nicks, scratches,and 3 small cracks from the frame back. Butt plate dark with small areas of heavy rust. A scarce US martial firearm that would greatly benefit from a careful cleaning. From the Michael Yeck Collection.
