Remington New Model. 44 Caliber Army Revolver with Non-Factory Conversion to Caliber .45 CF. Metal overall generally smooth and gray with just a few tiny dents on the barrel housing, very minor, also a few shallow dents on the cylinder. Gun is totally unmarked with the exception of the number 20 on the underside of the barrel just forward of the cylinder pin. Gun was apparently converted by replacing the cylinder, and inserting a plate at the back of the frame slotted for the CF hammer. Cylinder turns but does not index, mainspring intact but very weak. The grips are modern replacements. Interesting Remington conversion.
