Description
Model 1860 Field & Staff Officer's Sword 29 1/4" straight blade marked at the ricasso "J. K. McKenney & Co N.Y.", blade etched with patriotic motifs, American eagle on the obverse and "U.S." on the reverse. Blade is mostly smooth and gray with areas of dark staining and light pitting. Reverse folding guard's release button non functioning. Grip recovered, replaced twisted wire. Steel scabbard exhibits a dark finish with areas of pitting.Auction Info
