Description
Lot of Three U.S. Leather Carbine Boot Scabbards. Includes: 1) M1887 carbine boot, black leather with brass throat piece. No arsenal markings readily visible; all straps and buckles complete. Boot measures about 13 ½" in length. The stitching is compromised on the trailing edge and the leather has been treated making it a bit sticky, otherwise in good condition. 2) M1885 carbine boot, black leather, 11" in length, faint arsenal mark, lacking the top strap, else very good condition. 3) M1887 carbine boot, cut down to 10", with additional contemporary modifications.
