Lot of Three Rock Island Arsenal Cartridge Boxes. Includes: 1) Model 1876 McKeever Cartridge Box, black leather with "US" embossed in an oval on the front, measuring approximately 7" x 4½". Tan canvas loops for 20 .45-70 rounds. Brass closure stud. Light use with trivial scratches. Excellent condition. 2) Model 1876 McKeever Cartridge Box, black leather with "US" embossed in an oval on the front, measuring approximately 7" x 4½". Tan canvas loops for 20 .45-70 rounds. Brass closure stud and keeper. Some crazing to leather surface, two small holes on either side of the "US", otherwise very good condition. 3) Pistol Cartridge Box, black leather with "US" embossed in an oval on the front flap, measuring approximately 4" x 2". Two leather belt loops sewn to back. Brass stud closure. Wooden insert drilled for 12 .38 caliber cartridges. Scuffing and wear at the edges, otherwise very good condition.Auction Info
