    Description

    Imperial Size Cabinet Card Photograph of a Group of Nez Perce Indians, ca. 1890s. Very nice large photograph of a group of Nez Perce/Umatilla Indians sitting in an un-identified studio. Two of the men are wearing full eagle headdress (war bonnets), one on left is wearing a full trailer war bonnet. They are also wearing sleigh bells, so we assume they are grass dancers, they look to be going are coming from a very important ceremony. A hard to find image. Measures approximately 10" x 8".

    Condition: Very fine, light spots on image minimal wear to mount.
