    Description

Immaculate U.S. Model 1881 Enlisted Infantry Helmet. A seemingly unissued helmet with a Horstmann Brothers, Philadelphia maker's stamp on the backside of the leather sweatband. The helmet is complete with the fluted spike is set on an ornate floral base, crossed rifle Infantry buttons on either side, and a beautifully detailed eagle helmet plate with a "25" affixed to the shield. The helmet is virtually flawless in every respect. If you only need one for your collection, or if you can never have enough of them, you will not be able to upgrade this one.
