Description

Colt Round Barrel Pocket Navy with Ejector, #10412, Matching, C. 1875 5 1/2" barrel caliber .38 centerfire. Gun retains 40% of the original nickle, but exhibits several areas of pitting, most notably on the underside of the barrel, left side of the frame extending to the recoil shield, and two areas on the cylinder, with the remainder of the cylinder, including serial number and scene, excellent. There is also some heavy pitting on the hammer spur. Brass straps excellent with traces of silver on trigger guard. Excellent markings, mechanically crisp, very good bore. The grips are modern replacements but nicely done and look fine. Good representative example of this rather scarce early Colt cartridge revolver.
