    Description

    1870's US Army 5th Infantry Officer's Kepi Dark blue body, slightly faded, with an un-reinforced crazed leather visor, twisted gold wire chin strap terminating in infantry eagle buttons. The front exhibits a direct embroidered 5th Infantry insignia and the top a later red wool diamond. Interior has a silk lined crown and resewn soft leather sweatband.
