    [George Armstrong Custer]: Newspaper Accounts of the Massacre at the Battle of Little Bighorn. July 7, 1876 and September 29, 1876 issues of the "Deseret Evening News" from Salt Lake City. These four-page papers measure 18.5" x 25", disbound, single bifolium sheet folded in half. The first paper has a story titled "Still More of the Custer Massacre" on page 2, column 2. The other paper has a story in the middle of the front page titled "The Sioux War - Who Is Responsible for Custer's Disaster." Very good condition on both with minor stains along the spines.
