    Group of Five Foreign Military Swords. Includes: (1) Imperial German (Bavarian) Model 1889 Officers' Sword. Straight, faintly etched blade remains relatively bright. Grip complete. Plating on the scabbard is starting to flake. (2) Belgian Officers' Sword (unknown pattern). Slightly curved blade marked "Auguste Fonson Bruxelles". Blade with some age spots. Leather scabbard with plated metal throat and tip. (3) Unknown Mexican Officers' Sword. Plated unmarked blade. Plated hilt with eagle and snake emblem of Mexico and eagle's head pommel. Loss to grip and missing wire wrap. No scabbard. (4) 1860-Style Cavalry Saber. A heavy saber no identifying marks with a bright blade. Wire wrap missing from grip. No scabbard. (5) Unidentified heavy sword with "FR" marked blade, deep fullers, leather and wire wrapped grip, and deep bowl hilt. No scabbard.
