    General Filipe de la Garza Four Documents Signed. Documents 1 and 2: One page each, one sided, 8vo and folio, January and March 1843, respectively. One contains a list of payments to troops of the 4th Infantry for their march; the other is a list of items sent to the commissary. Folio sheet has a rough right edge with a few small areas of paper loss; heavy waterstaining; 8vo sheet also bears a large water stain that has caused ink to fade. Both very good. Document 3: One page, one sided, 8vo, San Fernando, January 23, 1843. Being a list of items Garza will need to treat with the Comanche, such as bits and other horse trappings, fabric, etc. Dark water stains. In very good condition. Document 4: One page, one sided, 8vo, San Fernando, January 24, 1843. Being a list of documents sent to Santa Rosa, including a roster of soldiers of the company, promissory notes, etc. Two moderate damp stains, else fine. From the Taking of Texas Collection.
