    Sell One of These Currency Converter

    Description

    Fine condition Ludwig Loew, Berlin, Copy of Smith & Wesson Russian Model 3 Revolver. .44 S&W Russian with 6 1/2" barrel with Cyrillic barrel roll and serial No 40337. Double headed eagle at the breech with small letter L and small Roman numeral II inside a circle. This same mark occurs on the face of the cylinder along with number 41102. Three Cyrillic characters with date 1874 on the rear corner of the frame on the left side. The grip strap exhibits the same number as the barrel. Gun overall very nice retaining 40% blue and case colors, mixing/fading with smooth even brown patina. Mechanically perfect, very tight and crisp, perfect crisp markings and perfect bore. Wood grips about perfect just showing some smooth even wear with nice patina. Original lanyard ring on butt. Very nice example example of this scarce and desirable 'big frame' Smith & Wesson. Produced by Loew on contract for the Russian government with a very high attrition rate.
