    About Mint German M1898 Mauser Bayonet and French M1874 Gras Bayonet. Mauser bayonet with quill back 20 5/8" blade, just some minor surface rust on steel scabbard mounts and equally minor scuffing on the leather, else about mint. Matching #22877 on both bayonet and scabbard. Maker's mark "E. & F. Horster/ Solingen" on the obverse ricasso. Gras bayonet with just some very light scattered surface rust on the blued steel scabbard, otherwise about mint. Bayonet marked FG 95216 on hilt, RS 19432 on scabbard. Script engraved maker's mark on back of blade, St. Etienne, with June 1879 manufacture date. Choice examples.
