Colt M1860 .44 cal. Percussion Army Revolver #83838 Mfg. Late 1862. Very nice gun with all metal smooth, with gray to brown patina. Traces of case colors visible on frame. One tiny patch of very light pitting on the barrel, really negligible, and a few scattered spots of salt and peppering. 80% cylinder scene just worn and a bit weak at spots. Mechanically perfect, crisp nipples, excellent markings and excellent bore. All matching including wedge. Grips very good just showing some honest wear/use with nice patina but no visible inspector's cartouches. There are inspector's initials at several places on the gun. An exceptionally nice completely honest and untouched Colt Army with desirable early war date of manufacture.
