    U.S. Navy Marked 19th Century Navy Battle Rattle and American Flask and Cap Company Peace Powder Flask. Comprising: 1.) Stained hardwood battle rattle measuring approximately 9-inches long with a 4 ¾-inch long turned wood handle. The top of the rattle is stamped with a small anchor and "US" marking. 2.) American Flask and Cap Company Peace flask. 8 ¾-inches tall to the tip of the spout and approximately four inches wide at the widest part of the body. Classic motif featuring the U.S. shield against a panoply of arms, surmounted by clasped hands within a wreath of stars, the entire motif surmounted by the U.S. eagle and shield. Retains both brass mounting rings.

    Condition: 1.) Very good and in working condition. 2.) Very good. Light dents to the body surface with some wear to highlights. Spring appears to broken.
