    Description

US Model 1840 Cavalry Saber Manufactured By Sheble & Fisher Phila Blade about mint with original luster and deep strong markings. Brass triple branch guard very fine with negligible wear. Mint leather grip, although we are of the opinion it has been rewrapped to point of being nearly undetectable, absolutely perfect. Steel scabbard light gray with areas of minor dark staining, surface rust and a shallow dent at the drag. Edge of the drag showing obvious honest wear use. A beautiful sword.
