    Percussion .577 Caliber Belgian Made Brazilian Light Minie Rifle Manufactured in Liege by Drissen & Cie with their Anchor flanked by the letters "D" & "C" logo stamped on various parts. Metal is dark and mainly smooth but with a few areas of surface roughness. Gun has a strong tight action, original rear sight and steel ramrod. Missing its brass shield shaped escutcheon at the wrist. Butt stock exhibits and old brass inventory tag stamped "No 58". Wood displays an old finish but does shows a number of small dents and scratches. Accompanying the gun is it's original bayonet , ricasso stamped "S&K", various parts also stamped with the Anchor "D" & "C logo. The blade has a smooth and gray surface, brass handle excellent. Leather scabbard shows surface wear and an open seam.
