    Pair of Civil War Cartridge Boxes. Including: 1) 1861 Pattern .58 caliber cartridge box with brass oval "US" plate mounted to front flap. No visible arsenal marks. Latch tab (what's left of it) repaired with a rivet. Lacks tins. Complete with all buckles and straps. Leather a bit hard and misshapen; a well-worn example but still great for display. 2) 1864 Pattern .58 caliber cartridge box with brass oval "US" plate mounted to the front flap. Inside flap marked "A. W. Deorow / Maker / Bangor ME". Includes tins. Lacking one shoulder belt buckle; leather brittle with some traces of mildew, otherwise fair condition.
