    Nice Group of Reigart Civil War Naval Artifacts. Nicely turned 3 1/2" piece of oak, 1 3/*" diameter at the base, with ink script paper lable on the bottom, "Gun Boat Harriet Lane of Farragut's Fleet New Orleans Apl 1861". A 1/4" diameter, 1" long bolt with two nuts and heavy coat of surface rust, attached to a 2 1/2" X 3 1/4" cardboard mount, "Piece of the Iron Clad Keokuk Sunk in Charleston Harbor Taken from the Wreck" A 5" X 5/8" X 1/2" sliver of wood with attached ink script lable, "From the Wreck of the Kearsarge Roncador Reef". An ingenious mount made by Reigart of twisted iron wire, 2 1/2" high, from which is suspended an approx. 1 1/2" square piece of copper sheeting with an ink script paper tag (now detached) "Keel of U. S. Frigate Kearsarge". Historic grouping.
