    Lot of Two Civil War Belt Rigs.
    Comprising: 1.) Brown leather sword belt with an 1851 eagle belt plate. Belt is 1 ¾-inches wide and is complete with all loops, keepers, buckles and one of two sword hanger straps. 2.) Belt with 1839 pattern oval "US" waist belt plate. The plate appears ground dug and is missing the keeper studs. An old tag accompanying the set reads: "Belt picked up after Battle of Fallen Timbers obtained by Edgar W. Powell when he purchased the entire Dr. W. H. H. King museum".

    Condition: 1.) About very good. The leather is still supple but there is some break down of the surface. 2.) Fair. The leather is still pliable but has surface checking and some dry rot. The belt plate has a ground dug appearance.
