Colt M1861 .36 Caliber Percussion Round Barrel Navy Revolver, #22895 Matching, Manufactured Mid-1864. All metal smooth and gray with just a few tiny scattered dents. Mechanically fine, excellent bore, excellent nipples. Grips excellent with nice dark patina and some varnish, there is a small very old chip at the lower front corner of the left grip, obviously occurring during the gun's period of use. Cylinder retains only traces of the scene but clear serial number. The gun exhibits the anomaly of exhibiting absolutely no sign of barrel markings, yet they have clearly not been removed. Unique in our experience. Overall a very nice '61 Navy.
