    Civil War USMC NCO Sword With Etched Blade As typical of Civil War USMC swords the blade shortened to 26", etched in a panel on the reverse "U.S.M.C.", unmarked ricasso, blade is mixed gray and dark with areas of minor pitting and edge nicks. Standard brass grip and guard showing dents and scratches. One counter guard appears to have been turned-down and then re-straightened.
