    Civil War Starr Percussion Carbine Serial Number 14257. Nice untouched Civil War Starr carbine. Barrel finish dark and smooth, traces of case colors on the frame, lock and lever. Strong crisp mechanism, bright bore. Wood shows minor dents and scratches, clear inspectors initials at the butt tang. Brass butt plate excellent, band with minor dents. Nice example of an uncommon Civil War carbine. From the Michael Yeck Collection.
