    Civil War Period Irish-Related Kepi. Fine quality deep green wool body rising to 3" at the front, 0.5" tarred leather chinstrap with brass adjusting buckle, cuff size brass button with a harp motif. Tarred leather visor with stitched, tarred leather edge binding. Pinned to the front of the kepi is a 2" high brass harp. Black cotton lining embossed in the center of the crown "Bent & Bush". The 1.75" leather sweatband exhibits a few breaks and minor losses. The hat is in excellent condition showing just some minor wear. Accompanying the hat is a 5" white clay pipe with a harp and heart motif in excellent condition.
