Civil War Period Colt M1860 Army .44 Caliber US Marked Six Cavity Gang Mould. All metal, very dark and quite possibly was in a fire. The walnut handles with brass ferrules are nicely done replacements that have garnered an attractive patina. All markings excellent including Colt's Patent on the sprue cutter, 44H on the right side of the mould and US on the left. Sprue cutter very tight, works perfectly with some typical peaning on the edges from hammering it open and closed. Nice representative example of this scarce Colt military mould as issued with every ten guns.
