Civil War: Pennsylvania Draft Broadside and Associated Ephemera. 10.5" x 17.25" broadside, Scranton, Pennsylvania, July 16, 1864, titled "A Draft For Deficiencies In the 12th District, Pa." Those localities who couldn't meet their quota for enlistees were forced to make up the difference through the means of a draft. Sold together with a small booklet titled "Instructions For the Use of Enrolling Officers of the Twelfth Congressional District, Pennsylvania" and a transmittal envelope from the Provost Marshal in Scranton, postmarked July 18th. Normal folds. A fine group.

The pre and post sales experience was wonderful and flawless. Heritage has the best in-house operation I have ever seen and their people are not only professional but fun to work with, especially Steve C.

As for Heritage's online system… Yes the interface is more complex than what we are used to with SAN but what is behind that interface is amazing for sellers and buyers alike. It is real time and for a real serious auction buyer there is nothing better in the auction industry, bar none.
