Horstmann & Son Philadelphia in etched panel forward the ricasso, European proof on reverse ricasso. Blade bright with light wear to the engraving and a few small areas of salt and peppering, no edge nicks. Sharkskin grip excellent with a few small areas of minor wear, spring like wire wrap perfect. Brass guard with cast leaf motifs, on top and bottom, where the branches join the hilt and on the face of the pommel cap.
