    British P 1853 2 Band Enfield Percussion Musket Dated 1859 All metal generally smooth and gray with minor surface rust / pitting at the breech, dark bore. 24", .60 caliber round barrel, breech with typical British proofs, fixed front sight adjustable rear sight. Lock with tight crisp action, marked "1859 Tower", (Crown) "V.R.". Brass furniture showing small dents and scratches. Stock forearm restored, remainder exhibiting scattered small dents. 1885 inspectors stamp on the butt face.
