Civil War or Earlier Cartridge Box With Original Cartridges. The box is unmarked/uninspected and retains the two original tins. Made without belt loops and most likely a pre-CW box. Rounded brass finial, black lacquered sling buckles. Very good sound condition with just some scattered areas of flaking. Latch tab torn but the piece is included. Overall completely untouched. Included are seven .69 cal. buck and ball paper wrapped cartridges, one .69 cal. Minie' ctg, a .69 cal. round ball, a .69 cal. worm and an unused artillery friction primer, all of which were found inside the box. Cartridges all in about perfect sound condition. Great grouping.
